So this is big news

Brewery powers activate!

The four microbreweries in ErieLake Erie Ale Trail Logo have banded together to form the Lake Erie Ale Trail. Based on a similar example from nearby Lake Erie Wine Country, our Ale Trail will function very similarly. All four Erie breweries will work together in coordination with VisitErie to promote the area as a beer destination. It makes perfect sense, we all work together to help each other with supplies and elbow grease, why not market the area as one entity?

An official press conference will take place on Wednesday, February 4th at 10:00am at our shop, with a local tap takeover event to officially kickoff the trail on Thursday, February 5th from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at the UPick6 Taphouse at 4th and State Streets. Two beers from each brewery will be on hand.

The breweries being represented include Erie Brewing Company, Lavery Brewing Company, The BrewErie at Union Station and ourselves.

One more important event is happening this week too – Ales for Sails is Friday, February 6th at the Bayfront Maritime Center. The event has already sold out like in past years, and we’re very excited to be a part of this year’s party. There is still time to grab a t-shirt though.

New beer – Keyboard Warrior

If you haven’t had a chance to stop at our brewery, come by and try our newest beer, Keyboard Warrior. This is a 6.6% ABV American Stout full of rich malt character with a bit of a hop bite from a generous amount of Cascade hops. This is out for distribution as well so you’ll see it at local Erie taverns and restaurants. If not, just ask for it…
